Women

The flip side of all this is that there might be a significant number of women who like going stalking, but aren't remotely interested in pulling the trigger. The boss really enjoys a day on the hill and she is happy to trail around carrying gear, taking the whole experience in and not frightened to lend her dainty hands to the gralloching... Not in the least interested in using a rifle (or shotgun for that matter), not so keen on woodland stalking, but is fine with me heading off at oh god o'clock!
One of the best ghillies I worked with was (and is) a very fine stalker and demon Argo driver and she is definitely a female! And definitely more than capable of holding her own in any company!!

One of my picking up ladies also picks up on another estate on their days, only 4 in total. In return she has the stalking there solely.
CWD, muntjac and roe. She's a good shot, obviously not squeamish and a really nice person to boot. No interest in forums, just cracks on with her life.
By the way,she uses a 6mmBR.

Good on her 👌long may that continue 👍

The ladies stalking group Artemis have all my cull days, their rolling over an average of 10 deer a day for a team of 5/6 and that’s just me!

Their carting about all over the country stalking, one of the women rolled over 40 fallow up to the point i last saw tribe!

They can roll stuff over don’t you worry!
Hope you don't use your classic line of "Time to get your t!ts in the sink" when the larder work starts ;)

Well the 24 hour test window is over, it seems we can put the women of SD into the same category as Santa Claus, unicorns and good looking .270 owners.
I actually think its a bit shameful that this is just a blokes club. At least someone tag a know female member of SD so she can prove girl stalking directory members exist. A thumbs ups enough.
Tomorrow im meeting a lassie whos been helping me this season with night shooting, shes happy out in any weather, dragging, gralloching... and she always brings snacks.
Shes after some help filling in her first application for a fac because she wants to get into stalking.
The point is though, if each of us took the time to introduce a least one person to some form of shooting sport (male or female) we wouldn't be in the position we face now, a load of crusty arse blokes facing inevitable extinction.

There are quite a few lady stalkers on here, but unfortunately the testosterone fuelled egotistical misogynistic and sexist ambience of the site is not particularly conducive to encouraging them to be regular contributors.
In fairness wasn't this forum extremely helpful and supportive a few years ago when your daughter wanted to get into stalking?

If any female members on here are reading this and have any suggestions on how to get my wife interested in shooting/stalking, please send me a message. Even if it's just range shooting, I'd love to be able to share it with her and knowing her she'd be really good at it. Fortunately my young daughters may be interested in time.
I have just sent you a DM.

Why does it matter anyway @Reloader708 ? It wouldn't make you more or less likely to talk to member? More or less respect for shared opinions, so why need to know??
No need really, it came about because my wife said i was as boring as ****, always looking on SD at what other boring ****ers were posting...."and I bet they're all men".... seems she was right.

Your getting some clues now Reloader 708...
Put your deerstalker hat on and fill the pipe up with fine tobacco.... sit back and enjoy the moment 😎
Ive just asked Google for some suitable hobby suggestions for men other than deer stalking.

This is the response....Hobbies: Photographing post boxes, collecting stamps/coins, bird watching, making items out of matchsticks, or tracking mundane data like train time tables:
