You are digging and digging frantically trying to save some face, you should have left this to those who were affected by it personally.
Everyone can see that this is not about you, but you are the one bringing it up when it's got FA to do with you.

Actually Lancaster, at no time did I mention Ed or Edinburgh rifles by trade of name until Ed brought this new thread into full view. In terms of squib rounds however, I have to disagree that since the vast majority of novice rifle users do not understand the idea of a squib misfire, and in any case if a lead free bullet following insufficient charge to clear the barrel is locked up the rifling then the rifle is now scrap before the dangerous rechambering of any following cartridge. Husky, while you might think i'm digging, a lot of people can see this wasn't about me. Ed has already said everything I needed him to say, confirmed there were quality control issues, neck tension, no or insufficient charge issues etc but most importantly stated that he will follow the standards set out in the sale of good act. And Griff... you're highlighed part is factually correct, whether you like it or not.
I think I will leave it to the SD Collective to judge you on what you have posted on the two threads......

nothing to do with what I posted was important, what was given is the important bit so if you can't put the pieces together on that one that's your problem. But to spell it out, we have confirmed what the issues were with the ammo and why, their was an essential recall and some priceless little nuggets the likes of drilling out rifles with stuck bullets which you only really know about if you've had a copper bullet locked in the rifling. If you were a thinker, you'd be asking why that's the prize. Spade back in the shed, job done.

Get back under your bridge and wait for the next Billy Goat, as you say, job done....

Really well done.

So were you on commission for achieving such a tremendous result?

Or did these individuals not actually know you were actually going to get involved in their business?

So now that you appear to have a bit of spare time, you might want to think about turning your attention to something important - like world peace?

Shouldn't take you more than a couple of days.

Wholely disagree, part of basic firearms handling, if you were not taught this then you were not taught in an adequate way. It’s the same as a misfire procedure, a basic knowledge.

I think it’s worth keeping context of what we’re talking about, I have found you just one other manufacturer who has recalled products, but look into Winchester, Remington, Barnes, Berger etc, a quick Google search will show you they’ve all done ammo recalls.
The key is a fault was noted, the product that was not appropriate was recalled and then the issue was fixed. Squibs are not an unusual problem to hear of and it has been addressed.

I for one will say I think Ed has been very reasonable about this and think it’s more than a little out of line to be deciding to discuss this on an open forum before speaking directly to the supplier.

Such grandiosity, your every word is important. Now you are "we" as in the royal "we" and have confirmed .. absolutely nothing.

I have heard that there has been a mental health crisis been going on, the past couple of years, obsessional types particularly vulnerable, and apparently lack of care for the demented as their delusions progress. Perhaps you are an exemplar of that sad situation. So sorry for you.
