Slippy Sling

I’m finding that I am constantly having to ‘hutch’ my rifle back on to my shoulder when out stalking. It’s a Butler Creek Stretch Comfort sling. Can anyone recommend a sling that is comfy enough but might stay on my shoulder?
I’m glad it’s not just me that finds that sling utterly crap. I had one on my main stalking rifle and spent most of my time stopping it spinning backwards off my shoulder.

I bought a very good leather sling from Braces of Bristol, not cheap but worth it, quite broad in places with a softer leather on the inside so does not slip like most others.

I had the same trouble, so bought a wide neoprene non-slip sling. Just the same, so bought an even wider (like really wide) non-slip sling. Just the same. Now have a very narrow leather sling. Problem solved.

PS, I now have a rather nice, rather wide, leather and canvas non-slip Harkila sling for sale. Any good to you?
PPS, I realise I haven't done a very good marketing job here.

I have the Harpsoe. Actually two. I was finding that simple things like bending over to open gates, or picking up rabbits, or just keeping the dogs under control was causing the rifle to slip off my shoulder. No surprise I guess, since I have about 2 kg of NV scope IR torch and moderator on the rifle, making it pretty heavy and cumbersome.
I like to keep things really simple and was initially against it but it was a game changer once I tried it. hence the reason I now have two. Not in pink though. I wasn't brave enough.

Get one of these. I have three of them. They don't slip.

These are good and I have 2 of them along with another similar make. Guests not fond of the curd around the pistol grip so nearly always ask to remove that bit .Esp Norwegians. 😄.Belgians too .lol😆
Keeps the rifle safe on my back and I love them. The cord around the grib can be loosened if required to be slightly moved but I have never found it to be a problem. Compared to a few hours of staking and a few minutes of actually holding the rifle to shoot, its a mild inconvenience.

Surely easier to just go with the slim version rather than adding to the bulk:-|
Not really as the only addition is a length of 6mm cord. The bulk you refer to arises from having tensioned the padded area of sling in a suspension bridge like manner that results in massively increased cushioning plus improved grip which is an oft’ misunderstood/poorly recognised benefit of a narrower sling:
