Not been abroad in about 8 years, me and the wife looking to away for a month Christmas 2025 we have been to Thailand in past and its an amazing place, the good lady hasn't put forward a definite destination yet but Africa, Malaysia, Sri Lanka have all been mentioned il just be happy having few weeks off and some quality food.

I’m heading over to Belgium in July on the Harley
The MC are going to be there already so I’m meeting them for a bit then me and the laddie are heading off ourselves. No idea where, we have a chopper show in Margate the week after so will be back for that.

I collect my passport at my urgent issue appointment on Wednesday ffs.
Well, since you mentioned it, I do holiday a bit. This year I have just come back from a 14 day cruise around Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. Tomorrow I am off to Prague for most of the week. Then I am off to France for a couple of days. I have booked a week in Seville a bit later in the year. September is a week in Singapore just after the Grand Prix (not one to boast, but I am staying at the Raffles). November, I should be in South Africa for two weeks hunting plains game, if all goes well. December, a week in Cyprus (bit of sun before Christmas). I wonder if I can I squeeze another one in somewhere ?
We've had to give up our Euro bike tours, we've had some great times and memories. The advancing years and failing health have caught up. The plane is now taking the strain
End of May, off to Madrid with my two sons. Wife is dog sitting. Eldest will have just finished at Uni; so bit of a reward trip. Youngest flies back after a couple of days due to work - but me and the oldest one are then off to Pamplona and San Sebastian. Then train to Hendaye and up to Bordeaux - then fly back. Bit of a planes trains and automobiles trip to basically eat and drink our way around northern Spain and SW France.
September, I'm off to Normandy with the wife and also taking the mutt. The plan is to visit the beaches/landing sites and Bayeux etc.
Don't do beach holidays - not for me anymore.

Always a bit of a surprise where we go.....ended up in Sweden at the Superrally a couple of years ago which was good. Before that aimed for Spain, but ended up in Normandy as the weather in South of France was rubbish. Starting in the Netherlands and always just work on the basis that as long as we're back in Ijmuiden in time for the ferry home everything else is a mystery! Have tent will travel!

Northern Spain is amazing
Mrs and me went to a club party in Murcia then just never went home for 2 weeks
Hammered the bike all around central Spain , basically a big circle round Madrid
Toledo, Salamanca , Soria etc etc
Absolutely stunning. Best bike trip I’ve ever done

If it’s a Calais entry, N roads down to sedan, jump over into the Belgium Ardennes, meander down to the Alsace region the across and down through the Schwarzwald {B500} get to the bottom, back into France and come up through lower and upper voges mountains…….. a good round tripI’m heading over to Belgium in July on the Harley

Going to Chester, by train..
Pop into The Cavern of the Curious Gnome for a nice beer.
It's located in the Rows, which are the timber galleries looking over the streets.
