Advice, I’ve potentially been scammed

I very much doubt he'll be a genuine firearms licence holder. Just a small time fraud and thief. Sadly, these bacteria get away with it as the police just can't be bothered with what they see as petty crime. It's appalling, and these people should be publicly flogged in opinion.

The licence is somebodies ID that they are using , I would think in the right circles they are bought and your up and running .
The woman Olivia Miller is more likely the name of the persons involved she has the bank a/c that the money is paid to .

You will have received notifications from your banks as have I that they are now charging an excess of claiming money back from Scams.. It’s £100..
Just type in ‘app scam excess charges’ into Google… it came into effect last month… The banks are trying to reduce their losses, yet until frausters get caught and imprisoned, it’ll continue. Unfortunately, a lot do not like in the UK. I was scammed out of £250 a few months back by a trader I had used in the past (ceased trading but still took my money and didn’t tell me he was sudject to a wind up order), but having used his services previously paid in advance.. No-more advance payment of services.. I did get my money back, but also reported it to the police too as it was fraud and not a ‘scam’.

I think I’ve been scammed
I’ve been messaged about a wanted ad I’ve got listed
The members has next to no posts but a member for 4 years, but to he cautious I asked for proof of ID and he sent a photo of his drivers licence. I paid for the item at the weekend and have been asking when it’s been posted via WhatsApp
Monday, it’ll be posted first thing Tuesday morning
Wednesday, he was on the way to the post office
No confirmation of posting and how I can’t access his profile on SD
I might be surprised and the item turns up but it looks like a call soon to the police might be in order
What item was it that you wanted?

Do they use a VPN I wonder if not surely some clever SD member might be able to trace the devices they are using and hence the location.
Do we have a known true photo of him?
D

Anybody reading this on here that has payed into the account of Olivia Millar has potentially been scammed .
Somebody else has come forward to say they have bought and payed for a scope .
I would say what ever the user name is , if you pay that account you've been had .

Same bloke doing the rounds scum of the earth, and most likely not his correct ID etc

Surely there’s enough of us now on here who have been scammed that the police must take some action.

I’ve started court proceedings against him so let’s see, ls anyone near Rochester fancy a look at the address to see if he’s actually there ??

Hey guys, DO NOT trust photos of ID, software such as figma can be used by anyone to alter anything and it’s so simple to use even I could do it. If you MUST make payments to untrusted parties of any meaningful amount then ask for a zoom call or similar where they can show you two forms of id and a video of themselves as a minimum (make sure I’d is clear). If you can’t meet face to face, then I’d buy elsewhere … Nothing is that good

It is his legit ID and that's where he lives.
He did me for £900 for a Z6i.

I am starting legal proceedings against him because the smug p***k thinks he's untouchable.

This scumbag shouldn't have access to firearms and I am hopeful Kent Police will agree.
