You will have received notifications from your banks as have I that they are now charging an excess of claiming money back from Scams.. It’s £100..Police don’t care about small value scams neither will Action Fraud, you may be able to get your money back via your bank or credit/debit card provider.
Just type in ‘app scam excess charges’ into Google… it came into effect last month… The banks are trying to reduce their losses, yet until frausters get caught and imprisoned, it’ll continue. Unfortunately, a lot do not like in the UK. I was scammed out of £250 a few months back by a trader I had used in the past (ceased trading but still took my money and didn’t tell me he was sudject to a wind up order), but having used his services previously paid in advance.. No-more advance payment of services.. I did get my money back, but also reported it to the police too as it was fraud and not a ‘scam’.You will have received notifications from your banks as have I that they are now charging an excess of claiming money back from Scams.. What item was it that you wanted?I think I’ve been scammed
I’ve been messaged about a wanted ad I’ve got listed
The members has next to no posts but a member for 4 years, but to he cautious I asked for proof of ID and he sent a photo of his drivers licence. I paid for the item at the weekend and have been asking when it’s been posted via WhatsApp
Monday, it’ll be posted first thing Tuesday morning
Wednesday, he was on the way to the post office
No confirmation of posting and how I can’t access his profile on SD
I might be surprised and the item turns up but it looks like a call soon to the police might be in order
quite possible as you can buy them off of F/B##kCould the driving licence and passport be forgeries?
