see it shoot it

thanks chaps, I think the br is the way forward for me,1066: the savage looks very nice but id proberbly destroy such a nice rifle bouncing around on the quad and the groups are very good. see it shoot it: I did think about the .243 ai but then I wont be saving on powder/barrel life although I have shot one owned by a friend and it was an awesome round. ian (white beard) everyone seems to agree the br is the best of the 6mm bunch and its good to hear from a fellow Northamptonshire shooter! and nell I was thinking of shooting 80-90gn so would that be the ideal barrel twist?
performance costs, just like tyres on a sports car,you want a rifle to shoot fast flat and hit hard the 243 AI is the way to go,the few pence difference in extra powder is worth the cost, but if you think the 6 BR is top go for it you will need a 10 twist for the weight of bullet you wish to shoot BUT make sure who ever chambers it either has the correct reamer or uses a seperate throating reamer to get the job done right.there is no point spensing good money on a top spec barrel not to have it chambered correctly
