BDS NW Event - FC Grizedale Forest

BDS North West Branch are pleased to announce there is a visit to and tour of Forestry Commission facilities at Grizedale Forest, Cumbria.

We will be shown the following from the perspective of the FC:


Woodland Management

All aspects of deer cull including how the cull is set, what numbers and why.

Tour of their excellent new larder facilities


Date and Time: Saturday 11[SUP]th[/SUP] May 9.00

Location: The Yan car park, Grizedale Visitor Centre LA22 0QL


Cost BDS Members £2.00; Non BDS Members £3.00

Very informative - good to see best practice in operation.

Fantastic facilities - larder etc.

Despite the weather's best attempt to spoil the tour round the deer control areas nothing could dampen the spirits of the hardy stalkers!
