Yeah, nice and easy really. Easier with lighter bullets to maximise case capacity. Is it?
Does it make 1000ft lbs ME?
I don’t know.
Ken.
.22.250 is a definite for me, and oh well I like my 25.06+.270+.260 ack+.284 win+.7mm rem mag so it’s a hard choice? Probably the old bomb proof 7mm rem mag(no much likes that thrown at them). But if I didn’t load then .270 for easiness. If you could have only 2 calibres, one for small deer and one for large deer, what would you choose and why?
You must have missed a lot of my posts championing the 7mm RM. Circa 44 years she`s been doing the job.the old bomb proof 7mm rem mag(no much likes that thrown at them)
Why bother with the CM?6.5CM and 30-06
I do like my 6mmXC too, I've yet to shoot enough deer for it to take place of my 223 yet.I currently have a 6x47 lap and 6.5 SAUM.
Which cover everything nicely.
However I do miss having a 7mm.
I think I will always own a 6mm of some sort as I love this bullet as a real all rounder.
Paired with a 7mm mag of some description.
Either SAUM, PRC or LRM this combo covers everything while super accurate and fun to shoot.
