Hi guys has anyone on here ever used nosler ballistic tips 140 grn factory ammo in 6.5 creedmoor if so what are your thoughts please and experience with them please

I have a box of these in .308Win.

While I usually use soft point bullets (interlock / Super Hammerhead) I wanted to give these a try. I've shot one deer with them and found them to be pretty good.

However, they (and a lot of other bullets, including soft points) are not bonded so jacket/core separation can happen if you hit bone which is not ideal if you happen to strike a shoulder on the way in. This happened in my instance and found it affected penetration quite a bit. Soft points would have just blown through the bone and kept on trucking out the other side. Since, I've reverted back to softpoints

I have 5 boxes of the 6.5 for my chassis rifle. I didn’t want to reload for it at the time and bought these 3 years ago. They are right at .5“ groups at 100 yards and work well on whitetail deer. I shot a buck at almost 200 yards through both shoulders and a short blood trail.

Used Noslers Bt in .25-06 and fantastic bullet but price and availability … I moved onto other good but cheaper option
