Never been one for ceegars, mainly a pipe. When I could no longer get a block of Gold flake I went on to black cherry. Everyone on the beaters cart used to love the smell of that. Seven years off it now but may start again at 80.
I find them a bit like whiskey
DISGUSTING
and they stink!
Stinking things! Spent a few trips in various places around the world with people who are into cigars....I just don’t get it! I’m a ex smoker and have had some nice cigars given to me but usually decline! But by the same standard I’m in whisky country and haven’t found one I would drink yet (apart from maybe Edradour cream)
The running joke is that men shouldn’t want a long fat thing inserted anywhere in their body!

Gixer
Ah well, your loss!
Supposedly some very rich Americans from the South seem to enjoy ripping open top tier cigars to chew the tobacco...
Would rather the cigar be left untouched if that is the case!

so I thought why not talk about the other half of a classic paring?
That beautiful humidor should really contain some foreign currency and a 9mm Luger.
Love that! The last time we were in Mozambique I took some monstrously expensive cigars - I think they were about £60 each - but a friend has got them via duty free at a discount.
Long Short.
Four days of effort and my Buffalo is down. It is time to celebrate. I give each of the trackers a cigar, pass one to my hunting partner and light one up.
After a few moments, my mate draws my attention to the trackers. They have broken off a tiny segment of their cigars and are busying rolling it into a Rizzler paper.
I do not know whether to laugh or cry...
Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No 2 with a 16 yr Lagavulin or 1952 Leyratt Cognac... wonderful on far too few sunny occasions in the garden.
This year was rather exceptional with opportunities presented by lockdown though.
Hmmm....
When introducing someone to cigars I always say, don't buy any unless you are willing to spend! Nothing worse than a crap cigar!
As they say I only smoke during sex![]()
Back in the day I like to think anyway?Jeez, you must be going some to create that sort of friction.
Thought it might be an idea to try a pipe needless Monday it wasnt successful nearly choked that's as far as I gotNever been one for ceegars, mainly a pipe. All down to technique. Practice for a week or so without lighting it until you're familiar with handling it and drawing on it.Thought it might be an idea to try a pipe needless Monday it wasnt successful nearly choked that's as far as I got
