With regards to Croatia the document you really need is a Croatian hunting license for foreigners the issue of which requires sight of your UK FAC or SGC.
After Brexit the Croatians authorities intend to be as helpful as ever so as not to discourage visiting hunters. This information came from a senior police/ministry of the interior official.
I imagine in practice it will be a similar procedure to hunting in Serbia or Turkey for instance.

From 1 January 2021, UK residents travelling to EU countries with firearms and ammunition will no longer be able to use a European Firearms Pass (EFP).
People will need to comply with the specific licensing or other requirements that other EU countries impose.
Therefore, it is for each hunter to work with their hosts/sporting agents and the government/police of the destination country to ensure that they do not bring a firearm or ammunition illegally into that country.
Some UK hunters will have EFPs printed with expiry dates beyond 1 January 2021. However, a future expiry date cannot be relied upon because all EFPs will become redundant on 1 January 2021.
These changes will not impact on the UK’s domestic firearms controls. EU nationals bringing firearms temporarily into the UK will continue to require a visitors’ firearm permit issued by a UK police force.

It would be really useful if the BASC could gather all the information on the different requirements of each country by contacting the relevant parties in each jurisdiction and the collating it all into one place with a definitive guide.
Flying is an option, but airlines, airline groundstaff and firearms are now two mutually opposite forces.
Taking a car either via the tunnel or Ferry to France or Holland is often much more convenient, but now unless you are hunting in France or Holland you will need more than one set of documents - one for destination, one for transit.
And I have very little faith in our Government’s ability and I fully expect no deal to be the result. Thats going to be fun.

By that you mean all those companies that have set up European offices, factories etc. which are now open, running etc with long term support packages m, whilst in the UK they remain shut with staff on Furlough or working from home. Do you think the UK will open. Amongst my clients I reckon 500 jobs in the UK are gone.
Or all those in Agriculture sector where all the forward orders for European buyers of grain, potatoes etc for delivery post 31st December
are not there, and if, as looks likely, tarriffs will be in place, post Jan 1st they will not be cometative,
Or anybody on the automotive supply chain as new vehicle models move production overseas m
Or now that European Medicines Authority has relocated from London to Amsterdam, the Benelux region is now the centre for much medical research and especially clinical trials - UK was the world leader - most has been transferred away.
Or anybody in professional services who includes European clients. UK professional bodies were recognised qualifies right across Europe. Most won’t be post Jan 1st
So yes you are absolutely correct in that there is a bit more at stake than a few of us going on hunting trips to Europe, or you finding the cost of most new firearms, optics and ammo go up by 25% plus - remember VAT is applied to retail price which is turn affected by any import tarriffs, custom duties and general import / export embuggerance costs.
But I am sure Borris will wave his magic wand and..........

Looks like the lack of an EU pass is going to be a one way inconvenience that's only going to affect UK residents, our passes are still valid, ,therefore I wouldn't expect it to get any level of priority .

Frankly I dont care about your personal hunting trips. How many times have you solely relied on your EFP and not your UK FAC ? Id wager a big fat zero.

A little bit of leveling of the playing field if you like. We have had the benefit of our EFPs being fully recognised by most EU countries for a number of years but we never reciprocated and required that visitors had a visitors permit.
The EFP was useful but I'm sure that we will be able to work it out when normal European travel eventually resumes.

Well it's not that straightforward really is it? I mean it might have been until recently, but now his freedom to move and work in and with the rest of Europe is rather more constrained.
Quite apart from the fact that what you infer about @Heym SR20 is insulting.
(@Heym SR20, I think there should be a little badge for SD members who have been told to leave the UK if they don't like it. A golden one if you've been invited to go back to where you came from, but that happens to be here, so... )

unfortunately I only have a British passport. The land of my birth will not let me have a passport as I have the wrong colour skin.
Until the beggining of this year with my British passport I can travel, live , work
Trade with anywhere from the North East corner of Finland down to the bottom of Greece and all the way across to the bottom corner of Spain.
And ignorrant idiots have thrown this all the way with promise of freedom by idiots like Borris.
I am Not whinging, I really hope you get what you have voted for - I have seen how corrupt Nationalist governments really are.
And yes I am cross, as I am seeing directly the damage this is doing to all our lives, and am able to see the consequences of the actions.
I am fortunate in having many European friends and friends around the world. None of them recognise the UK any longer, nor the Rhetoric that is coming out of the mouths of people like you.
