Good people are dying from a disease that could be overcome with enough money poured into it to find cure, by governments that can find enough money to pour into methods to kill good people. Condolences Pete. I lost my brother too.
It was two years before I could visit my sister's grave without crying.Thank you all for your kind messages, they mean a lot to me.
I have done most of my crying over the last week or so but I am sure that there will be a few more tears.
There will no doubt be a time or two when I shed a few more tears for Mick, certainly at his funeral but for now I don't think there are many more tears left in me.It was two years before I could visit my sister's grave without crying.

Your post has really touched my heart Sir, I feel for you!I lost my wife of 61 years recently and am now rattling around in the house full of all her mementos from our travels over the years.
Seems strange as there were times when I wanted to stay out late or go somewhere but didn't or couldn't because of my wife at home, now I have all the time in the world but don't want to go anywhere or do anything.
It is something everybody will have to go through at some time but when it does happen it is so different and certainly not a nice experience.
The strange thing was tho was that I had heart attack, Cancer, appendicitis and an umbilical hernia and am still here, she had a hip replaced five years ago and nothing since and just sat down and stopped breathing.
I now know what it is like to lose someone close so can feel for any others going through the same.
After ten years. I took the condolensce cards down off the mantel shelf! The calender from the day she died is still on display. There will no doubt be a time or two when I shed a few more tears for Mick, certainly at his funeral but for now I don't think there are many more tears left in me.
Thank you for your kind words Sir and my deepest sympathies for the loss of your much beloved sister!![]()
