Will be amazed if their is a buy back for anybody other than may be the trade, they will simply say you had the transition period to use up what you had In-hand.

This is total and utter tripe. You really are a tit aren't you. This effects a dam site more shooters than just stalkers. This effects EVERYONE. From kids who won't be able to start shooting using the old air rifle to people who just want to print some groups at the range. Comments like yours have genuinely ruined the shooting community. Pipe down and get back in your box![]()

Ironic that this is a covert way to ban or at least severly restrict recreational shooting by making it more expensive and causing disruption (at the cost of animal/quarry welfare) yet there are folk on here applauding it...
I don't' disagree. No excuse for still shooting birds, or game, small or bigger with lead (shot or bullets). To be eaten by people, or wildlife. Or just scattered about into the environment in massive quantities by shot gunners, many of whom don't even abide by the wetland rules.Ha! I was waiting for it!
The trouble is Lead still isn't banned.
They should just get it over with. Ban the sale of all lead ammunition across the board from January 2024.
Non-lead is quite capable of making holes in paper and all sorts of other stuff.I don't' disagree. No excuse for still shooting birds, or game, small or bigger with lead (shot or bullets). i do have a personal problem about the industry providing dynamic targets for e.g. pheasant shooting types, and what happens to them afterwards, but that's just me.
However there are some of us who also shoot paper, or other materials, for fun. Don't disregard us. The problem is a bit more nuanced than that.
This has been on the cards for well over a decade, thats plenty of time to get sorted out!You really are a tit aren't you. This effects a dam site more shooters than just stalkers. Not at all. This is total and utter tripe.
The shooting community is it's own worst enemy. Ther e is nothing in the lead ban that should stop kids using airguns or people shooting targets or any other sport. Some people, like ypurself are either too stubborn or too stupid to change.
Show me a lead free pellet or rimfire round that actually works pleaseThis has been on the cards for well over a decade, thats plenty of time to get sorted out!
Bit what did everyone do ?
Bury their heads on the sand and laugh!
Now I’m laughing at you lot flapping like unprepared boy scouts.
Its hilarious

I use non lead airgun pellets. They work fine. Not at all.
The things that will stop kids shooting air rifles is parents won't use them because the non lead alternative is shocking and doesn't perform whatsoever. Same as 22lr. It just doesn't bloody work. The majority of deer bullets don't even bloody work above 100 yards. I don't mind change, in fact I welcome it. The issue I have is getting put over the barrel for a good rogering. Lead free bullets are already an eye watering price. Now make demand for that much higher, the price will only rise, once again putting us shooters who shoot paper or gongs out of it purely due to expenses. £1 a bullet in lead free plus loading components? A match or simply putting holes in paper is going to get real expensive real quick and for some reason you can't seem to understand that?

They don't work fine though do they...I use non lead airgun pellets. They work fine.
The rifle bullets I use also work fine well past 100 yards.
You're either too stupid or too stubborn. One of the two.
And as regards shotguns - well there are already plenty of options available that work with everything save for thin walled old vintage guns. And the ammo manufacturers are going to have to scale up production or go out of business.
Stupid. That's the one. They don't work fine though do they...Certainly the multiple brands I've tried!
150 yards isn't well past 100. Give me a bullet that still works as it should past 400 yards, you know, like bullets were DESIGNED to do...![]()
Over 350 actually but mums the wordI use non lead airgun pellets. They work fine.

With the 22 rimfire there is ammunition available which works in some rifles and not others. But manufacturers are working on this. Bear in mind many jurisdictions are going or already hone lead free including much of Europe and parts of the US - notably California.
Mate, you can't even give me an answer... That says much more about you and being a troll. Back to your holeStupid. That's the one.
