multiple tracking

Was thinking of picking up a German Shepherd. Have it to keep the house safe n all lol! Was just wondering could you train it to track Deer ?
Could it pull down a wounded deer ? ( I dont see this being a problam )
Could you also still train it to track other stuff, like people or something ?

Yes to all the questions but training to track humans and deer will lead to confusion!

Ah ok lol! Was just wondering as I have been watching Schutzhund training on youtube lol would be cool to be able to train that, although prob never need it.

Think a shepherd would be good on deer then ? Would love to train it to find the deer, not just track a wounded one. 8)
