Hey everyone,

I've just moved to Berkshire (Reading) and am still new to country sports. Been deer Stalking and done a couple beaters days + I had some permissions in Kent.
And I'm wondering if there's a shoot I can join as a beater? + Stalking opportunities, rough shooting, wildfowling, rifle clubs, clay grounds and fishing advice for the area?
Any direction/help/new contacts will be massively appreciated!

Cheers!

For Rifle clubs you probably cant beat Bisley. Clays there too. I use the Bisley pay and play on the right before you get to Bisley camp. A good selection of sporting clays stands. Plenty of clay clubs dotted around Berkshire.

Hi, I've only ever fished coastal so I don't know in all honesty... I would like to try and get fish/crayfish I can eat though if that's possible around here?
Hello, Your need a Licence for Crayfish and i have never heard anyone getting, You could contact local fishing clubs, I would not eat a fish from local rivers, Trout fishing is still popular, Depends where you are in Berkshire ??

Hello, There is Sportfishing lakes at Theale, Also i would look at the river Kennet or Pang for next season, There is a free stretch on the Kennet in Reading
