Hello all,
I am a long-standing member of a very well established shoot in mid Cornwall. This season I am looking to swap a seriously good days pheasant shooting for Red, Sika, Fallow, CWD, or Munty stalking. I’ve plenty of Roe stalking available to me locally so I am looking to swap a day for a different experience.
Our pheasant syndicate has been going for 20yrs +. We are a welcoming bunch and have shoot with one another a long time. Our days are structured but informal. Well behaved dogs, partners & children are welcome to come and join the day. Encouraging the next generation and welcoming newbies is something we’ve always prided ourselves on.
We have some fantastic countryside & topography. We are in a particularly well stocked part of the county. We put down a very significant number of birds ourselves and are one of numerous shoots in the area including one of the county’s largest.
We do not sell days, though many guests have said we should. This is a rare opportunity, we are one of few independent shoots in the county that can genuinely see guns entertained on a peg for 40mins at a drive. No mean feat for a bunch of builders, farmers, fishermen & a butcher. Days usually see bags of 100-200birds largely pheasant, some partridge, pigeon & woodcock.
We are close to St Austell, Heligan, Eden & Truro so perhaps a wkd break with the wife is in order. Happy to consider stalking opportunities from anywhere in the UK.
