Miffy,. they are obviously still at the proof house then, November i think the shipment arrived at Sportsmans, i suppose the proof didnt bother over Christmas-new year and they will hopefully be back soon.

Visited the Sportsman Dorchester with my... The guys there are friendly, helpfull...

If it was Dorchester then it was Sportarm. No connection with Sporstmans. I usually call in when I'm in town, look at everything, try a couple of guns then buy a tin of oil or a couple of flies and leave feeling a tad guilty that I've only spent a couple of quid. Then again, maybe its their own fault for putting so many nice guns on the racks!! And yes, a very friendly bunch.

Delta mods on shelf at Sportsmans

Spoke to Aboo at the Sportsmans on Friday, They now have moderators back from proof and on shelf ready to go and are raring to get them out to the shooting public. We have also further supply of more mods going over to them in steady batches,
Including some with 15mm extended rear ends that fit the spigoted muzzle threads used by the M17x1 and M14x1 reflex mods, this means the spigoted part of the barrel behind the thread is nicely covered.
We've some 5/8x18 rear ends in production and these should be ready within a few weeks, M18x1 threaded rear ends will be in anodising next week,

Sportsmans have the following currently on shelf:

1/2x20
M14x1
5/8x24

to follow shortly,

M14x1 spigoted
M17x1 spigoted
M18x1
5/8x18

if there is any other size that might be regularly required, we'd like to know about it.

hope you guys who have already recieved mods are pleased with the performance and enjoying shooting with them attached.

Pete - I looked at their site and there is nowhere to specify whether you want the 6.5mm model or the 9,3mm model...... which have they got? Also, they don't give you the option to have the 2 stainless baffles (unless you buy them in addition to the mod...). You might want to let them know...

I do not rate the Sportsman for their customer service, or truthfullness

Or their ability to do anything right... been posted items that are clearly not the size/colour that I ordered... idiots!

HI There ,Stick to your local gun shop i can tell some horror stories about the sportsman ,not good at all ,a friend went in just before xmas with £1300 to spend on a shotgun ,told the guy who replied is that your deposit !
at this point my mate left !

yes tried to get me to put a deposit down even though i knew there were delivery problems back orders and no dates , but still wanted money and kept pushing to get a deposit to the point of saying 'whats your problem its only £30' as if , that was newport the odd time ive used the others they were ok to be fair , but will give them all a miss , like above i hate that take your money then oops sorry out of stock as though they did not know Blood boiling 'chill' lol .

I hope you guys have had moderators filter through by now. I can't comment on Sportsman customer service exept to say that years ago I was a customer of thiers and always recieved excellent service. All your local RFD's can source Delta moderators through the wholesale side of Sportsmans and we've had a lot of RFD's asking for the mods to date. Interest in the moderators at the IWA was HUGE !!

Sportsman originaly decided to go with one baffle size fits all.i.e. up to .30cal, they recently, due to requests from customers opted for the second baffle size ( up to 6.5mm) as well and we sent a batch of 30 mods in this size straight out, I am sure thier website will be updated to suit. We've just updated our website with the latest info also.

I was in the Birmingham proof house on the 14th of March and there was a box of about 50 Roedale mods from Sportsman waitng to be proofed
