Vets opinion if one one line?

Mrs was walking our Spangle and she’s comes back with what looks like a hole between her shoulders - wasn’t near any other dogs so must’ve been barbed wire or a stick or something - can’t feel anything in there and she seems happy enough…do I take her to the vets right away or wait until tomorrow or would the vet even be able to do anything as it’s a kind of round hole rather than a cut..

The vet probably won’t do anything for that other than charge you to look at it , Bathe it in salt water it will be fine

Keep it clean, it will scab over and heal

We have just had this with our old spaniel and it was a bust abscess.

Vet prescribed Clavubactin for 7 days and all was fine.

I'd just put a bit of antiseptic spray on that, and repeat in a couple of days.

Weak saline solution though, too strong will make it more like a burn.

For the looking at it, £1. For the years of experience so I know what I am doing £29

For wondering if a thorn will emerge from the bottom of that in a few weeks - free

For agreeing with everyone else that said salt waterbathing , 1tsp to a pint - priceless.
