Which is the best digi scope

Which scope are you using also. A scope and add on seems like my favoured way of dipping my toe into nv
I use it with the Element Optics Helix. However it’s designed to be a ‘one size fits all’.

@Bo Diddley

Now, bear in mind, this is significantly cheaper than its counterparts and I imagine a tad cumbersome if you’re going any real distance.
But to test the waters, it’s pretty good.

What a hideous set up and rubbish image compared to the Alpex.

A hideous set up, I’ll give you. It is foul beyond belief. But for somebody that wants to try NV and will be sat in the pitch black, does that matter?
£100 down the toilet if you don’t like NV seems far more logical than losing two or three times that trying to move a proper bit of kit on…

Worth noting that picture is a still from a video that I took on my phone of the screen, also in the dark. So that doesn’t help clarity.
However, full mag on my Alpex isn’t much better.

I’d struggle to justify the huge outlay of the Alpex to somebody that just wants to give it a try

I’ll dig it out and PM you the details. It’s nothing special, just a cheap Amazon thing.
It was a “No way. How good can this Amazon crap actually be!?”

Turns out, more than sufficient.
Thanks for the info. I'm surprised the image is better than the Alpex, although I have only briefly looked through my nephew's when he was setting it up/zeroing in daylight.

I'm still using a Pard 007, I did borrow a LL Vulpine for comparison and found the Pard & Vulpine the same, splitting hairs to say one was better than the other, but the IR was PbirL, not a Wraith, which may make the difference.

I'd really like to go tubed, PVS 14, but can't justify the cost, being a hobby foxer. I've also considered thermal.

Thanks for the link.

You’re welcome and good luck.

As I say, I love my Alpex. I just find it becomes very pixelated at higher mags!
