Winchester 94 Trapper - Aftermarket stock or riser

Hi All,

I have a Winchester 94 trapper in .357 and I am trying to find out if there are any good aftermarket stocks for them or cheek riser/butt extenders that fit well. The stocks are smaller than most rifles so a lot of the aftermarket slip on butt pads fit so wondered if any of you have experience of any that do fit well.

The Win 94 stock fits me well but I am quite small.
There are usually cheap stock extenders on offer on evilbay.
I personally never had an issue with a scoped 94ae and the low stock comb so never had an issue there.

If you are able to then a simple leather cheek riser is not difficult to make and looks really good. Ditto a slip on recoil pad.

Before you start spending time or money a bit of duck tape and hard foam ( wifes yoga matt) will provide a temporary riser/ extension and allow you to experiment and to come up with a shape that really fits you.

You can then add a leather or fabric based cheek riser, or can inlet a piece of wood into the comb and a butt extension to the existing stock to give a permanent fix.

Or buy an aftermarket stock. Or make a new stock yourself.

Yeah I was going to try the comb riser kit off the shotgun to get an idea of height needed.
