Hi Sam,Nice!
I'm just waiting on a 6mm Creed being finished. Just on a Rem 700 S/A.
What bullets are you shooting through this? The chap that's built mine is currently doing a load development with 80 gr YT copper.
Sam
Nice running boar rifle! (At least that's what it looks like; just saw your response about the moderator)
I actually have 2 the same in 6x47 lapua .
Day gun is a
Dolphin action right bolt left port
March 5-50x56

This is a sasson barrel so assume sasson also done the flutes?Who flutes the barrel? I like the longer flutes. Most you see are only half the length of the barrel and stop well short of the chamber end.

The dolphin gun company are the coolest flutes I have seen .I think I’ve seen another Sassen with the same flutes. Must be their thing.
I really want Blaser style flutes. No one does them.

I had then on my last barrel .
Pretty sure he will be more than happy to sort it for you , go interruptedI’m taking some bolts for Mik to flute in the new year. Might just have to take him a barrel or two as well.

Oh my, some fantastic rifles here! And the groupings some of you get, gsus!!! Hats off.
But I’ll join here with a less exclusive semi custom.
Winchester m70.
Barrel: Sako 75, changed from 243win to 6mmbr.
Stock: Thumbhole from Boyds(painted it, to flashy imo) I’m now trying to build another one, made of half a original stock, and some left over wood from our sauna seats
Contessa rail, Meopta Optika6 scope, Atec supressor, check rest homemade and a pair of cheap Decoy bipods.
Got it Cerakoted, just because…
I shoot factory loads, Lapua Scenar L 90 grains.
Pictures:
1:The homemade stock, not done but slowly getting there.
2:Two black grouse, think the longest hit that day was 225 meters.
3:My best 3 shot group at 100 meters. A common group size is 12-15 mm.
4:A closeup of the tool.
It feeds perfect, no problem what so ever. How does it feed the 6mmbr from the original mag?
I chickened out going 6mmbr in my 85 ‘s’ action for fear of magazine and feeding issues.
The stock modification looks brilliant.
How the hell does that sling arrangement work.......
It a;- shortens the sling b;- keeps the stock's butt snug to one's side and c;- permits barrel down carry if required. I only came upon this approach when desperately trying to find a meaningful way to carry my poorly balanced Daystate air-rifle:How the hell does that sling arrangement work.......![]()
