Stickers in car's

A few years ago we conducted a survey on the basc rspb etc sticker thing in old cars & 4x4's parked in areas..some got smashed up regular, some got steam rolled !! (it looked that way )......... To get to the point , do not use BAsc stickers in cars , 4x4 period !!

I feel like being a vandal when I see those stickers saying " baby on board" "small person on board" etc
Who gives a damn if the sprog is in the car

"Show cats in transit" is my favorite to date. It made me take extra care whilst overtaking.

The best pice of disruption I have seen were the words "Yes the driver" written in the dirt under the "Baby on board" sticker.

i had a BASC sticker in the Trooper was in sainsburys car park in Huntingdon and some dick head started sprouting of at me being a animal murderer and a bird killer started driving out and he was running along the side of my car giving me no end of ****, i said to my wife Sarah if he keeps this up im going to stop and lamp him, as i said that he ran bang smack into a streat light lamp post he went down like a bag of spanners i nearly hit a parked car in stitches.

The Baby on board sticker is very sensible and any one carrying a child should have one on display. It also shows that the parents are worried about the type of driver they are meeting when they have the precious cargo with them. Other stickers well i am not so sure i don't have any on my car.

Had BASC / BFSS / Prince Albert Fishing stickers in my cars for over 25 years with no problem at all , simply luck of the draw i guess

Had a mate who had his truck vandalised and he had BASC & BDS on his! His solution was to puta RSPB and a wildlife one on too and he never had another problem ever.

Some of them around here should worry more about their own driving...

What sad times we live in!
Never even given it a thought until now.
Might peel them off tomorrow given all the above.
Never heard of it happening round here but you never know.
I hope if they do try it the brick bounces off and hits the bugger in the eye.

I've had a far worse experience.
A career armed robber who the criminal justice system saw fit to let out early tracked down my home address from a BASC sticker on my trade vehicle. He couldn't break into my gun cabinet but instead stole a very valuable antique muzzle loading John Manton shotgun of around 180 years old, then cut off the barrels and stock to attempt yet another armed robbery.
Incidentally I can only describe the service I received from the Hampshire Constabulary over this crime as absolutely and totally useless.(Mr Groothuis please take note)

This is the only post that made me think bout taking my stickers off

I used to have a sticker saying 'toot if you shoot' on my car. Could never work out whether people tooted because of my driving, because they shoot, or because they were anti! I since have a different car and would not put any sticker on display as I feel it advertises the potential for there to be firearms on board and the less attention for that the better!

I have to agree that I am proud to display my BASC, BDS, fishing stickers. The fishing are a necessity as bailiffs have to check. I have not had any trouble so far but the post about the arm robber has un nerved me. But I am surprised my car or house windows haven't been bricked yet due to the amount of scumbags my land shark has bitten.

May be it worth putting a trail cam watching your car.
