Legality of catapults?

yet

looks like Kent police may not know the law, or will be busy if they do.

Jesus... all the old ways will soon be banished to the history books soon.

We will be going back to the days when owning a running dog meant smashing its feet to bits so it couldn't possibly catch one of the King's deer.

Perfectly legal method of harvesting game for the pot, providing of course the user has permission on the land in question, in skilled hands a catapult is very capable of humanely despatching small game, sadly not in mine.

Used to use one in my early teens. 1/2" ball bearings my Father used to bring me from work. Shot many rabbits and the odd hare with one. Had one confiscated by the local Bobby after shooting a woodpigeon in the Churchyard.

For starters catapults don't fire anything. They shoot.
The police can't do a single thing unless the video confirms an illegal act.
Other than that they can't do a thing and will possibly soon be returning private property.
