.22 lr would be my guess. Problem is lack of police to cover rural crime in normal times let alone Spanish Flue II the remake

I had to report poaching activities last night while I was out in the lambing fields , PSoS is going to be doing patrols now . I am sure those who have not phoned in will most likely have a few questions to answer specially if they have deer in their cars.

Nothing wrong with head shots if you use the right bullet and can gaurantee a 100 percent kill, but if not don't take a head shot,
Correct ! It always amazes me how upset people get about any shot that’s not H&L , clearly far outside their comfort zone ....

Could have been one of the local head shooters gone wrong
What’s wrong with head shots ?

Who said anything was wrong with head shots?

Both the OP "Deer were shot in the jaw, in the neck, and were still alive." and @tomreveley referred to head shots that had gone wrong...is it not reasonable to surmise if the deer was alive with a bullet smashed jaw that it was more probably a head shot gone wrong than a heart and lung shot gone wrong?

I see the standard of reporting on that 'live' site is the same as on our Devonlive......'deers'
(trying to get it off head shooting:rofl:)
Cheers
Richard

ANY arguments regarding head shooting and your off the site. I think we have had enough c..p talked about taking them.
I’m sorry what exactly is cr@p Adolph ?
And for your info I don’t give a toss if you kick me off , shows how petty and small minded you are
