British Airways: confused and expensive firearms protocol

Don't bother with BA. Waste of time and money. There attitude towards passengers carrying sporting firearms stinks. Use SA to fly to Africa.

Having just flown to Hungary with EasyJet for Wild Boar, I have to say that at Gatwick the staff were not very well trained and again it was a bloody nightmare, even though they knew we were a group of 12 and had booked and paid. Coming back from Budapest their staff could not have been more helpful.

Just to add to the BA comments, You don't have to be carrying sporting items with BA to get C**p service,
Once you're brought tickets you're sc**wed. We were lucky to have a holiday home in Turks and Caicos but were stuck
with BA for 9yrs, they were only carrier from the UK.

I flew to Croatia with Lufthansa from Manchester via Munich last November and they were exerlent
to travel with

We went with BA last November, I was close to telling them to stuff it. We were very lucky to not have to pay the extra charge due to paying the complete balance before the increased prices. But they were adamant that we should pay the £125 For firearms and an extra £125 For ammunition, and then again on the way back !!! Unbelievably unprofessional set up from check in to security. I've seen a better managed game of cowboys and Indians on the infants play ground.
I'd rather swim the channel than fly with BA again.
