CDSG. Customer service

Reloading UK are based at America Farm ,which is where Cotton Dale Shooting Ground is . CDSG Ltd (Cotton Dale Shooting Ground Ltd ) moved to Weaverthorpe . I highly suspect they are one and the same .

Reloading Solutions are someone totally different !

I'v Used them in the past for lots of gear but then they started playing the take it now BS and then letting you know its on back order with no date for shipping  Gave up with them and won't go back until they get back to the good Company they once was . Sadly there name is mud all over the web on shooting forums .

Left a load of messages about my order September basic redding die set, been told USA delivery, stuck in customs, unpacking order last week from redding, the man is trying my patience,
Been in touch with a few authorities but don’t want to waste there time due the the current situation.
Will be contacting all outlets including stalking directory were Mark Thomas advertises, if you have to wait so be it, but this could be fraud, deception but I have been unwell and don’t need this.
Just to prove I am not a disgruntled customer plus I have another order.

I have used a load of times before, so this is why I am being patient.
Sure I received an email saying joining up with another company, something like that

Well...
Ive had stuff in the past and was ok but recently bought some electronic stuff off them and had a few problems so fired off an email and have had no reply🤬 and not answering the phone, been at least a month!!
My last order off them!!!

Their customer service is woeful. I had to open a dispute via PayPal to get my money refunded. They actually tried to make a liar out of me by pretending not to have received emails I'd sent seeking delivery updates. Never again.

I placed an order for some stuff a while back including some bullets that I knew were on back order. Every time I checked their site, the "expected" date had moved back another 2 weeks and was being moved back by a day, every day so it was always 2 weeks. They didn't send the in-stock items either.

I asked for my money back and got a snippy reply that it was "because of covid" and I should have read their terms and conditions. They did grudgingly refund me though. They won't be getting one more penny of mine.

As has already been said, Reloading Solutions are nothing to do with CDSG. I have never dealt with CDSG but get most of my reloading supplies from Reloading Solutions and cannot fault them in any way. Really great service and a pleasure to deal with.

Yes. Reloading Solutions are really great. Quality service. However, have they joined the digital revolution yet...?

Excellent company to do business with. Clear communication, fast delivery.

But...no website transaction automation. You need to call or email to place an order.

Not always a bad thing: If they do not have what you want, they can advise of next shipment date and reserve your order.

the website said 28 days for Peterson brass

Don't expect it in 28 days if it is on back order. I was fooled to start with and wrongly assumed the website listing meant the maximum wait.

The website backorder listing at CDSG is for average wait times. A 28 day average listing could mean a 56 day wait...being an average delivery period of an item whether in stock or on back order.

"Back Orders

Although we try to fullfill back orders as quickly as possible, the average back order waiting times are as follows and we may not accept cancellation of back order or special order items:
Accurate Arms - 84 Days
Alliant - 84 Days
Barnes - 84 Days"

I have had orders from CDSG arrive the next day but last year had to wait 80 days for some Le High Defense bullets that the average wait was listed as 40 days...the current average wait on their website for Le High Defense is 84 days...as is every back order average...so unless they have them in stock it could now be 168 days...6 months...they do warn you.

I guess they keep their prices so low by only ordering when they can combine orders to get price breaks...I was happy to wait 80 days for 100 Controlled Chaos bullets at £54....half the price of any other Mono metal bullet...so as long as you factor in the delay no worries.

Though in this particular case I now think somebody made a mistake and the bullets should have cost more...Le High Defense currently list the same bullets at $28 for 20! But CDSG honoured the order and I received 100 bullets.

I'm not expecting they'll be in as early as 28 days, the delivery on the website was 21-4-2021, so much longer, a lot of items on the website show the same date so my complete guess would be he is expecting a big shipment then and it will all come under 1 import licence. In reality this isn't a big issue for me, it went on the credit card and I'll do a 0% transfer then pay it off when I sell the 300 I don't need to the guys who have already said they'll take them. I have rounds that came with the rifle from Mike Norris to keep me going and I won't be doing any load testing until lockdown is done and dusted. Plus I've managed to pick up 150 remington which with the 80 from Mike's loads will keep me going in the short term.

20 th September I ordered

What did you order and what delivery date was shown when you ordered?
I ordered a redding die (3 rd one plus loads of previous bits)started off would have by the end of the next month 5-6 weeks. 96 working days now 😀
At that point was in customs clearing
Next a bit of a delay
Next COVID totally understand whole operation closed down but was able to take orders
Next phone stopped being answered
Next told delivery expected early next week.
Next unpacking redding delivery will get out.
Next sorry for delay will get it out.
Most of the nexts are another week, I am over the 84 days which every company has adopted on his site.
It won’t be long I will be contacting the police & if he is involved with shooting Feo informing his actions, you can’t take money for products which you are unable to supply. And I have given many opportunities for a refund, plus loads of emails.
Out of decency I gave time just in case the worst could have happened in these times, ie relative etc.
I have other posts as I am involved within the shooting industry.
I had a major fall and fractured my back plus wrecked my wrist, so time wasn’t a major issue but you can’t treat customers like this.

I ordered some Hornady and Peterson cases in October when they were expected in November. The last time I looked at their website, it was going to be April. I get emails from them all the time with so-called sale offers, but I'll wait until I get what I've already ordered before I buy anything else from them. Spud was the same until he sorted things. Now I'll order from him, but check the stock levels first.
This all smacks of that optics seller in the Netherlands.

Oh great.

On the plus side I have a contact for the sales director at graffs so I will at least be able check if he has received the order and when they are shipped from the states.

If this starts to get silly I will pursue it with the credit card company and get my money back.
