Pard 007 SP2 4k

They are currently supplied without IR .the IR module can be purchased separately .

At a later date they will be supplied with the IR with the unit , although the price will go up slightly to the same as buying the two items individually .

To be honest your better off not using the module , if they are LED, 4K and LED will not be great ..

I’d get one of these , direction adjustable head and vcsel power supplied with mount .

Reasonable point, but for me, I want to keep the set up uncluttered. Adding something else to scope in the form of a torch is not for me. Never needed an external ir on previous pards ive had. I've fitted the ir unit now so will get some night footage this weekend. Day time footage looks good. The head on the ir module is adjustable too.

It’s horizontal mate. Still haven’t been able to get out with all this heat and not getting dark till 10.30. Now the grand kids have come over from Australia for three weeks!!!

Finally got out for a couple of hours. Pard was excellent, terrific clarity out to around 180 yds and foxes easily shootable at 250. All down to the amount of IR and your scope of course. A definite improvement over the previous 007’s and an overall nicer unit altogether. Very pleased. Shot two.

Only criticism is the IR splash is quite a long way top left of box. Not a problem as I can see the splash and place it on whatever I want to know the range of. Still should be set up a bit better.

No video 🤷.

Is the scope centered and bore sighted on its mounts? That might being the laser closer to center.

Err, yes, I’ve set up more scopes than you have probably had the proverbial hot dinners. That would make no difference to the relation to the splash and IR box. Video, no.

I’ve just read this thread. I managed to get a pard scope from Amazon with VSCEL IR from Amazon direct from pard. Just a thought they may supply the factory fit VSCEL IR for the 007 to keep things tidy.

There are a few variable reasons why the LR splash could be nearly out of view or off center from ideal on a add on nv system.

If the scope tube is not close to true to the rifle bore.
If the scope bells have suffered damage and not true to scope tube.
If additional fixing tape has been used and some overlap has caused a high spot creating some yaw to the unit.

The unit also may have reticle centering feature which may also incidentally dial the LR splash away.

The request for a video was so I and other interested parties could compare.
I don't particularly find that part difficult.
Maybe it's all those hot dinners 😋

Hmmm.
Is the Rf splash far away from the reticle centre on base mag? I know on the Zulus beyond about 10x you do lose the splash.

Shouldn't on a centered unit FB.
Without checking I think I can see mine on 20x but did have shim the mount.

On my Tikka in 30.06 with original picatinny rail and 20 moa dnt mount, the Zulus RF is about three millimeters from the center of the reticle with all mag
