Scot Independence poll - would you leave?

If you reside in Scotland, and Independence prevailed, would you leave to England/Elsewhere?

I followed a thread on this topic on another forum. It went on for months and months. Eventually admin shut it down because a lot of the otherwise amicable members got quite nasty with each other.
For me, that just epitomised everything about Brexit and Scottish independence. All it ever created was division and resentment. I felt very passionate about Brexit at the time but I honestly wish it had never happened. I never expected the vitriol that came with it.
I’m sure we’re all better off together if we can leave politics out of it!

I couldn't agree more. I have no issue with people supporting whatever beliefs they want, within reason, but seeing people referred to as nazis or when they tar half a nation with some ridiculous tags is just embarrassing in this day and age.

I could write 100x that list detailing the crap the tories have inflicted on us English. ALL of that list also applies to the tories in England, except the ferry fiasco, which the tories more than made up for with their procurement of ferries that didn't exist, PPE supplies and a lot more besides. Don't be so blinkered.
I will call your bluff, write 100x that list, bet you can't.

We all have to be careful, emotionally charged politics bring out the worst in some of us. I’m as guilty as anybody for being judgemental and blinkered.

Trouble is, so few people understand history. In the late 30s and during the war years leading members of the SNP actually supported Hitler and Germany because they were so anti English. Know people by the company they keep.

David.
Complete and utter pish.

If the Scots vote for independence then let them have it, border, passports and all. Also import/export tariffs just like any other "foreign" country and definitely no financial support from the rest of the UK. It would be interesting to see how the SNP would deal with the economy without the "We want independence" shouting to distract from the real problems of running a small country of just over 5 million. Well there's 5 million or so now, but how many would remain in a post referendum Scotland? As for joining the EU, well that would take years.
Totally agree!
You claimed that you could write 100x that list, but you won't.
Funny how all your posts on this forum are on this thread,
ah here we go. If I don't play your stupid little game, so you say I'm full of BS? Another sad little 'man' :)
I fail to see why you in particular (and others on occasion) seem unable to discuss a matter without reverting to personal abuse (as in "....sad little man") - I assume that you do not personally know either "Husky" or "Freeforrester" who you tell "to grow up" - It would appear that name calling or plain rudeness is your only way of responding if you feel you are losing the argument.
Admin, my post is not intended to be provocative but please delete it if you think it is likely to invite more abuse.

I live 20 miles from the border.
Just an idea, but maybe you and other folk in The Borders should campaign for your own Referendum. One to move the border a few miles further north.
All of the people I know from The Borders voted "no" in the 1st Referendum.

If nothing else it would add some variety to the debate.

Hm . A shot in the dark , but you seem a bit defensive . You have left leaning , seperatist beliefs , that's fine . Unfortunately , like a lot of people on the extremes of the left or right , they're exactly the same to me , you throw insults instead of having a discussion or backing up what you believe . It's obvious that you don't give a rats about what anyone else thinks , but seem to get annoyed if others feel the same about you . There are a number of people on this site who are also left leaning in their politics , I actually enjoy talking with them because they back their statements with facts . Maybe give that a try , you might even convince a few people that you have a valid point .
