I am not disagreeing with your assertion.
All I am raising is the folly of the SGA using that line to fight off the proposed change in season for Red hinds. It is irrelevant whether there is any truth in their assertion, it is now documented that such ill effects do, or would exist, so logically ScotGov cannot now deny its existence/impact.
Presumably Wild Justice won't raise the issue, despite their hatred of keepers and the SGA, but it wouldn't surprise if some Animal Rights mob had a go.
ps I shot a Roe doe yesterday that was pregnant with twins, no mental health ill-effects thus far......
