The biggest issue of all this is not one organisation has the balls to stand up and say what actually has to be done, it’s all smoke mirrors and polished terds.
when will somebody stand up and say herd deer need to be shot wholesale and indiscriminately?
I had an interesting conversation with somebody on the phone yesterday who is well-connected, we are both singing from the same hymn sheet, he had some differing views to mine, but that’s to be expected.
I am brutally harsh about deer stalking and the deerstalking industry.
What people need to do is remove their heads from the sand, look at the bigger Picture and ask themselves what’s going to happen in 5 years time if I don’t get fell in?
My opinion is government contractors will come in and wipe them out, which to be brutally honest needs to happen, so the numbers can be managed properly from the word go!
As for carcasses well you also need to realise is that there is no venison industry in this country. Those who eat it, eat it 90% don’t and will never and no matter how much education you give people that will never change, put it this way it hasn’t happened in my stalking lifetime so far , Brexit killed the export industry where all the surplus went years ago.
Come November I’m going kill every deer I see, at least I’ll be one of the few on this forum getting the job done
