The future is bright for fast twist 22cf.

Interpreting the lead sham, it occurs to me that the future is very bright for 22 centre fire. The implications of this I doubt are lost on folk.
Apologies if I'm rehashing already done to death stuff.
Is this in Scotland as England must be above 240 for small deer?

22x47L
I'll just leave it here...

In keeping with the theme, I have an action with a PPC bolt face waiting in the wings for either 22arc/6arc or to open up slightly and go 22-250/22x47L 6br/6xc/6creed

I enquired with one 'smith as regards a 22GT reamer, but alas no. Given the prevalence of the 22 Creedmoor, my existing tooling etc, I'll likely go with that.
Was chatting with a pal who used a 22XC in SA for culling work, his only complaint making brass was a PItA, but otherwise loved it dearly, and talked of killing shots on stuff most of us would balk at, and he isn't a BS'r.

I would even suggest a 220 Russian, given the brass available and run it in a tight twist barrel.
Amazing lapua brass, almost indestructible

What is a 22GT?

Not sure I follow that given .22-250 brass was an easy source of 6XC brass.

I suppose it depends on each individuals attitude to brass prep ?
I consider neck turning a PItA, but I'm informed if I wish to neck down Lapua 6 Creedmoor brass, it'll be required, not only to avoid donut formation, but for safety and full release in a standard .256" chamber neck.

So, with all you Scots running down the route of a fast twist .22 for large deer how long until they ban all lead?
