Schultz and larsen 25-06 thoughts

S&L are very nice rifles. I was going to get their built to size 223 ones, they website says they are going to make these left handed, but they haven’t done so yet.

Don't all S&L rifles have a slight choke - if so shortening the barrel is a "no no".

Hi All,

I am looking at getting a 25-06, i have been doing my research and keep comping back to the Schultz and Larsen. Just wanted to get peoples thoughts and experiences. Previously shot a Remington 25-06 but the S&L looks a great gun.

The good bits i can see:
Cut Barrel
Easy to change barrel
I like the scope mount idea for summer / winter shooting.
Looks to be a reliable gun from my research.

I've an S&L Legacy in .223. It's superb - a pleasure to shoot. I'd buy that 25-06 if I had the slot and the funds.

Both Steve and Alan are extremely good chaps to deal with, and S&L rifles are top-class, you won't go far wrong with any of them!
