I think they may just have more pressing matters to deal with to start with. I mean, we're well within the "Cones Hotline" category of moribund government desperation here. To the extent of having another Dangerous Dogs Act and that was one of the daftest pieces of poorly thought out improvised legislation ever.Looks like its been binned, thank god. No doubt the idiots who know sod all will raise it again in the future. Especially if Labour or Greens get in power.

or the Tories, they can no longer be trusted on rural issues!Looks like its been binned, thank god. No doubt the idiots who know sod all will raise it again in the future. Especially if Labour or Greens get in power.
I don't recall that they ever could be.or the Tories, they can no longer be trusted on rural issues!
Sorry but the Bill is very far from being talked out. There are 60-plus Amendments yet to be considered, but the most crucial of these which were intended to improve the legislation were defeated in the COWH September 12th.looks like the lords talked it out. No doubt the bed wetters will be wailing.

No. But that’s no reason to be grateful for what has been enacted under successive Conservative Governments....and you think that the next mob will be better for rural issues???
I don't trust ANY politician. There's nothing honourable about any of them.or the Tories, they can no longer be trusted on rural issues!
It's ever more important that you contact your local prospective parliamentary candidates ahead of a general election announcement to find out which ones genuinely listen to you , irrespective of which party they represent....and you think that the next mob will be better for rural issues???
Agree to a point. The local Labour guy admits to enjoying eating pheasant, our old Harrovian Tory MP appears to look down on his constituents as his inferiors and as far as I'm concerned quite the worst MP of any party that we have had representing us in living memory!I don't trust ANY politician. There's nothing honourable about any of them.

Ms. Cooper is mine, don't honestly think her response to this would be anymore to my taste than any other response she's ever given me.It's ever more important that you contact your local prospective parliamentary candidates ahead of a general election announcement to find out which ones genuinely listen to you , irrespective of which party they represent.
Regrettably the same applies to the Isle of Wight, put a blue rosette on the biggest waste of space that god has created and he will get elected. Fortunately the Labour opponent who you can have a sensible conversation with is in with a chance next time.Ms. Cooper is mine, don't honestly think her response to this would be anymore to my taste than any other response she's ever given me.
She was shipped up here an GIVEN the placement because they know they could put a donkey in a labour tie and it'd get voted in round here.

Absolutely not. I’m relatively sure a very lefty labour government would all but do for driven shooting....and you think that the next mob will be better for rural issues???
Aside from the local knob head who needs evicting whatever the GE outcome I can't but help thinking that Trophy Hunting Bill was actually a Tory manifesto pledge?Absolutely not. I’m relatively sure a very lefty labour government would all but do for driven shooting.
The tories are the best we could hope for, especially with Sunak at the helm, who seems pretty pro.
Yes, but I think it was a Carrie Symonds/Goldsmith fiasco. Sunak was the MP for Richmond and spoke in favour of grouse shooting, he’s best case scenario IMO.Aside from the local knob head who needs evicting whatever the GE outcome I can't but help thinking that Trophy Hunting Bill was actually a Tory manifesto pledge?
If those halfwits get in , Trophies will be the last of our worriesLooks like its been binned, thank god. No doubt the idiots who know sod all will raise it again in the future. Especially if Labour or Greens get in power.
