I have them on my Meindl Dovre extreme boots mate... takes me around 35 minutes to fit one but once their on they stay there! The wife usually goes out when I try to fit them as it does get emotional shall I say. Parental guidance is a must!! Worth it in the end thoughRegarding the Yeti's has anyone had much success in fitting them to a pair of Meindl Dovre Extreme?? I have used Yetis for years but they were only ever used with an old pair of Berghaus boots, in the end I used silicone to fit them to those boots. Currently using Mountain Hardware ones on the Meindl's but would prefer Yetis again if they are likely to stay on. Anyone??
Hands down? Ah, so now we know how they make those funny prints in the snow!Yeti. Hands down.
Have just broken my Harkila gaiters after a few good years' service.
Any opinions on the best brand with which to replace them?
Your local shoe mender will be able to fit new hooks to the front. Mine charged me £3 to supply & fit.To hijack thread
Can anyone point me in the direction towards spares for gaiters ?
Spare elastic
Spare bras hooks for the front to hook on laces
Spare straps that go under the sole of boot
Got couple pairs , one Harkila, one no brand name still good but need various bits to get em back up to scratch ... material themselves good

Which Harkila gaiters have you gone through?
I nabbed some of their Angus leather gaiters for a very good price from Pecheur.com and they seem to be well made (and stylish). Fjallraven also do some in theirG-1000 & G-1000 Heavy Duty Material
Lovely. And, with a slightly fetishistic vibe from all that lacing...Carl
I've finally tracked-down the ones I had in mind but couldn't locate on my phone:

The normal prohunter x ones. Those leather ones do look nice, though.
