What is the best whisky

Well,

from my point the taste is also depending on the Company.
Like a good 21 yer W. can loose the taste in poor company, a plain blended W. Can be very tastefull with good friends after a loooooong Day with stalking.

I know it's not really a best whisky as such but a mate if mine who knows I'm not a big whisky drinker very kindly brought me some blackberry whisky the other day ! Wow :) really tasty in fact I can't see it lasting very long lol

My current wish list is a Lagavulin 16yo and am hoping one of my friends who is a whisky nut also sends me a nice bottle for Christmas. Usually it will be a cask strength and one I have not tried or heard of before.:-D As also mentioned earlier by other good friends and a good time make any whisky taste good. Whatever you are drinking enjoy it. Regards sbm

I approve strongly of blackberry whisky: but I think its close association with sugar and fruit have probably lost it the right to be considered as whisky in the context of this thread.
;)

For my birthday I was given a nice bottle of glenglassaugh from my dad. It is a small distillery from Portsoy , Banffshire. Very nice.

Almost all the single malt whiskys are acceptable here , only one blended and that's Crawfords 5 Star , if you can find it .
